These procedures and forms have been compiled by the SRA Standards Sub-committee in consultation with securities registrars, stockbrokers and other securities industry participants and approved by the Committee of Management of the Association.

These recommendations are intended as guidelines to be adopted by security registries, stockbrokers, financial institutions, CHESS participants and other securities industry participants as appropriate and are considered to be the most suitable and acceptable to the securities industry in general.

They should be read in conjunction with other regulations and procedures governing the securities industry.

Members of the Association are detailed in Appendix 3 of this publication and it is suggested that those members implement these recommended procedures and forms which were developed for the benefit of members and other securities industry participants.
